    When I read this originally my immediate thought was that it's going to be very similar to MW. Might not a bad thing though as personally I wasn't a fan of the BC2 singleplayer.

    I'm actually quite surprised each time I watch these trailers about how real it looks. Perhaps it just the post production but it has that gritty film feel. I also like dragging the team-mate to safety - who didn't love being killed the second you were revived in BF2 :P

    I can understand the significance of the Shogun I in terms of it's legacy but that period of time just doesn't interest me - I've nothing I can really relate to it being British and interested in the Medieval => Industrial period.

    I love the total war series but I can't really see the immediate appeal of a shogan version. Rome, Medieval or Imperial but not Shogan for me - unless for mods or major gameplay advances.

    Just checked - MoH was Frostbite for multiplayer and UE3 for singleplayer (source). That goes a long way for explaining why BF3 looks similar, MoH borrowed the BF engine!

    What engine was MoH? They look similar to me as well but all games in this genre look similar to my eyes.
