It would be really cool if we could put our badge and like stars of rank on our uniform (Like APB: Reloaded where you can put own things on shirt)

I'm asking this to be thing because of clan I own, and it would be really cool.

Being that we are a realism and historically accurate game, that will simply not be a thing. Reserve things like rank/clan affiliation for ingame name and such.

well maybe push it a bit and add something like for the uniform you can switch between clean combats and different levels of battle torn. For clans and such you can set your characters rank so in game you have the rank displayed. And maybe some camo netting with/without foliage in it for helmets. Same for combats.

For the germans if there is a sniper allow him to wear the hat or camoflage painted helmet with camo uniform.

Camo for the Germans will be realistic to the units portrayed. Camo'ed helmets were incredibly common in Normandy for all ranks of German frontline-troops, and will be represented as such in their vast myriad of designs. As for camo uniforms, that really depends on branch (FJ/SS wore much much more camo than Heer troops, who were MOSTLY limited to the Zeltbahn, if any. Smocks for the Heer remained rare until later in that year, and never become the norm).

Helmet nets in the German army were in no way issue. Some soldiers didn't use them, some had nets, some used chicken wire or just loose wire strands, some used breadbag straps, some used bicycle inner tubing.... It was really up to the soldier's preference and what he could scavenge, and that ellecticness will be fairly represented ingame with a wide variety of helmet camo paint and foiliage schemes. One of our main goals with the German army is to present them as they were- an army of heavily mixed uniforms and gear- rather than the hollywood stereotype of cookie-cutter soldiers.

Hm..Yes, the Germans were quite unorganized with what to wear during the Second War. This game seems quite promising.

There will be some degree of randomization between uniforms, faces, and general appearance - but customization is still too early to call.

I have mixed feelings on this subject, but in the end, I'd say no to customization. I'd rather have what we're going to have, that being a bit of randomization between characters' appearance.

l guess, will be, nice if we have a costumzation to "each team" at the, germans and british, only to "costumzation" the body character to make-him fat or a, little skinny, changing his, face this will, allow you to, make your (character soldier) how you want, him to be.

Nah, I believe this is just not worth it in my opinion. Just randomize soldiers and the appeal. Of course NCOs will appropriate ranks and insignas on their dress, and Squad Leaders/Commander will also have their respective badges. For now maybe you could randomize the faces (some with beard, glasses, different eye colors, size of eyes, nose, etc.) but later body size could also be introduced.

I don't think it should be possible to change body shapes/sizes, because then why wouldn't everyone just want to make themselves as small of a target as possible?

I do think there should be some variation in faces, or little stuff with uniforms from soldier to soldier, but nothing too crazy.

I think it would also be a good idea to have the gear/uniform/kit reflect what is actually being carried by the soldier. (unless this is already planned) ;P

I guess aside of all suggestions is the main target to finish the development of the game.
For myself it is important that i can operate all weapons and vehicles with an fast and easy control. I want realistic physics and modern graphics. It should be an multiplayer fps for 64+ players no simulation.
Unfair character improvement systems i dont need at all.
Special healing system is not important.
Individual customization of uniforms is maybe nice to have, if its historically realistic and all players (including new) have the same possibilities, but also not necessary.
