What's the most terrible World War II movie you've ever seen?

One of them was actually Don Malarkey (yes, that Don Malarkey, from the series), who broke down in tears whilst gripping my hand and thanking me for being a reenactor and not forgetting. Yeah.

In total, they didn't like the authenticity, they found that it skipped over the deaths of people and even had a couple live who actually died, plus ignored incredibly important events (Purple Heart Lane) and turned other battles into short skirmishes (Carentan was a 5 day slug-fest which the movie boiled down to a short 15 minutes skirmish with few, if any, casualties. The para named the german defenders (6th FJ) the "Lions of Carentan" for a reason.)

Wow, that's awesome. Back on topic: the Worst WWII movie, in my opinion, has to be Kelly's Heroes.

Also it was basically the only movie of that era that tried to do WW2 tanks correctly, with actual Shermans and actually well done (for the time) mock ups of Tigers.

It's not a movie about World War Two though. It's a Spaghetti Western with a 70's WW2-movie flavour. I think it's one of Tarantino's finest movies.

If I'm right it's supposed to happen in WWII.
And even without that, the movie is still terrible and a joke.

Dunno if it counts but 'Dead snow' was dismal.

Awwh noo it wasn't that bad, as far as low budget Norweigen horror films go.

If you want a REALLY bad film with Nazi's in then you have to watch Iron Sky, about a hidden Nazi base on the dark side of the moon. Just... dont.

I loved Iron Sky, it didn't promise realism or seriousness and delivered on laughs for me and my kin :D

Yeah, me too. The story was a bit disappointing, that old führer had so much potential.. But great entertainment none the less.

Only in Russia!

Hell, that's a tough one, actually there are way more bad than good movies about the WW2-era.
Guess I have to go with 'Pearl Harbour' as of right now, closely followed by 'Enemy at the Gates' ;)

Alex already got onto Stalingrad 2013

Just speaking in General, Movies that are diluted by bullshit love stories, woeful historical inaccuracies, portraying a side as more than what they were (All Germans evil, all Allies saints oh except for Russians of course) battles that never even occurred, etc

oh and Romanticizing the war is one of the biggest things I hate, maybe if it was the Kettle war I could understand but not the world wars.

Company of Heroes, Enemy at the Gates, Pearl Harbor. Awful films, I can't stand them. I noticed that in Company of Heroes, all the US troops were using SMLEs! How thick must you be to mess that up?
