    General Naga and I squaded up tonight and played War Thunder for over two hours. Epic times were had. We had some amazingly good games. http://i.imgur.com/ZTlYm5K.jpg

    I'm just sick and tired of the Yak's (although they have been nerfed a bit). I play as US and do quite well with the fighters (after getting past the crappy lower tier planes). Most planes, especially Japanese, are no match for 6-8 .50Cal's reigning down on them :)

    There are some heavy Russian bias in the game. Having said that, if you don't play arcade style a lot of that BS is eliminated as the planes perform more identical to the real thing. The key to survival is learning how to play as your nation and utilize the strengths of the planes you are flying.

    Some games do it right, I would argue War Thunder is one of them - its a game where either way you are promised some kickass fun. I do plan to put some money into it at some point though

    War Thunder really isn't to pay to win. You can invest in some cool paint schemes, decals and buy some premium aircraft (all of which are balanced by advancement and rank, you can't buy a Boomerang if your still on biplane reserve level) - so putting money into the game doesn't really give you...

    Not very populated at all. However every Thursday night there is North American gaming nights on WaW server - sometimes up to 25-30 people. I *Think* WaW does some custom mappack day, on Sunday or something - but you would have to check the FH2 forums for that.

    Yeah, great episodes. I personally don't care so much about accuracy in the show, its not about that, its about much more.

    Yep I agree. Some of the color episodes are pretty cool, but its often said that changing the show to color was a poor choice and is one of the things that killed the show in the end. Ironically, the show that replaced Combat only lasted 1 season and then was cancelled... stupid TV executives...

    Ah yes! I have the entire series collection on DVD. And on topic, I just finished the new Bioshock Infinite Burial at Sea DLC..... its EPIC. Other then that I'm still playing BF4 every few days.
