Do you guys really enjoy this Battlefront? It looks more like Battlefield 5: Star Wars. The good things: immersion is maximum, the graphics (of course) are the best and is really awesome that you can play without HUD and not having any trouble with friendly fire (even if it doesnt exist). But come on. It looks more like a CoD (even a Batttlefield) to me than a Battlefront game.

Bad things: The game makes the favourite strategy be "shoot, run 'n launch grenades in all directions", looks like Hoth map is one-sided (ok,it should be like that according to the movie, but not in a balanced game) and my favourite is that the content is minimum. As one comment said in a Bluedrake's video: Better graphics, worse content.

I just can see people will be bored of playing the 7-8 same maps over and over again and having to pay for DLCs that should be free. It also pisses me off that both rebels and Imperials use a tusken almost-OHK snipers or weapons that were used by bandits. But for me thats something that can be there.

All of this is just my opinion based on a general look of the game. Hope I didnt misunderstood anything

You're not wrong. I played a couple of hours last night on the drop-pod map. It took me a good few rounds to get out of the habit of firing crouched and scoped. The whole game seems designed to keep players on the move. If you stay still anyone of Level 3+ is going to pull out the punisher rifle (the sniper one) and take you out in a single shot across the whole map.

The grenades are a bit of a nuisance I'll grant you but not as bad as you might expect with infinite ammo and cool-down timers.

If you take the game at face value as a casual run and gun then it's pretty fun and the Star Wars backdrop is just epic but it's a long long long way away from realism games like most of us play. It's more like TF2 than Traction Wars ;)

guys, what universe do you like more? Galactic Civil War or Clone War? (I know that Battlefront have only Civil War)

Clone Wars for me but there is something nostalgic about the Civil War. I have no doubt that if Battlefront proves a success we will see a Clone War sequel.

I also prefer Civil War. Love the uniforms, the ships, the millions of storys that there are behind every character or battle. But of course I also enjoy Clone Wars (specially the animated series). Any fan of the Old Republic here ;)?

Oh,and yea, BF3 might be nice at its style of play, but I wont pay 50 bucks for a TF2 with Star Wars skins and much better graphics. Do you guys know about Angels Fall First?

It's the LAATs. I learnt to land those in a hot LZ long before I started flying Blackhawks in PRM ;)

I'm probably being unduly harsh describing SW:BF as like TF2. It's a like a cross between BF3/TF2 with a lot more BF3 than TF2 in the mix. It's just the jetpacks and lack of any need to scope that makes it like TF2 in my view.

If you aren't on limited internet I would recommend anyone who liked BF3/BF4 to try out the beta. It's fun but most importantly it's free while it's in beta ;)

To be honest, Shake's video kind of sold me. It looks amazing. I too prefer the Clone Wars, however in this case I'm glad they chose the Civil War, it really brings out that classy Star Wars feeling that just gives me goosebumps... the immersion is awesome. The Clone Wars can wait for the next Battlefront.

Hear hear! SWCW for me! As for SWBF, For me it was Bluedrake that made me love it although it it is still too COD for my taste...

I've now had a chance to play Hoth and yeah... it's pretty in balanced. Part the problem though is half the team don't shoot at the AT-ATs when they're shields are down. The best I've seen a team manage it to take one of the two down about a minute before defeat :S

Something wrong there I would think!

Yeah but don't go to hard on the other players! Let them enjoy the open beta at least before going full Naga on them!

Im reading some comments reviews about the game around the internet, the consesus is that it is pretty much a mediocre game with a Star Wars license, shame.
