It's been 10 days since any news from you guys.
I'm starting to get worried if anyone have assassinated the lead director 8)

Being a member of a realism unit for 3 years in games like Red Orchestra: Ostfront and the mod Darkest Hour, really makes me moist for this game and I am really hoping you are focusing on the "realism" part in your title and not ending up with upgrades to weapons, ranks.

Btw, where is my golden P08 Luger with a bipod and the 3x Scope on it? .. . . 8|

Usually it's every 2 weeks we get an update, it's quite consistent. ;)

The team is all for realism, no upgrades or miscellaneous attachments and such. :)

I got my hopes high for this game. I saw this game a year ago and thought it was going to be great if it turned out as planned, though I believed it would at least take 2-3 more years to finish the game.
Looking at the recent screenshots and videoes it looks like you've guys are close to an estimated releasedate.

I just really hope you'll manage to get back the big open maps where you can attack from different angles and bring back the realism units from Darkest Hour and Invasion 1944 (Arma 2), like the 2.SS, 29th ID and the 82nd Airborne.

Estimated release date? I guess you're a bit too optimistic here ;)

a bit too optimistic here
A BIT?! I think your way too optimistic as well... I mean there's supposed to be 20+ weapons, and they only have ~5 weapons finished... And didn't start on the Germans yet as they are too good for their skills ;)

That forcefield is called an anti-virus program invented to block any bullets from reaching the opponent in TW.

Are you meaning us? we've far more than 5 weapons done :D. Huge progress has been made on that front and there'll be updates in the future. We have shared as many german weapons as we have british ones. The luger, P38 walther, Kar98k, MP40, Panzerfaust, MG42, MG34 (WIP) and we've many more to share in up coming months - we've showcased at least 15 in various forms on moddb so far :D (including a good few weapon attachments!)

We've made huge progress in the past few years but we're still not ready to give an estimated launch date. Even AAA titles are reluctant to give launch dates as it's all too often the case they have to put the game back a few more months.

That is easily the most beautiful Bren LMG model I have seen in my life.

To the fans of TW: Patience is a virtue, don't be so eager. I've done developing on a personal project of mine and I have made tons of changes without the fanbase knowing. Maybe some eye candy occasionally, but not showing off every change as I make it. It's part of development, there are a lot of things a developer likes to keep as a surprise so that when a release version is reached the fanbase gets a real treat.

It's only today I have heard about this game, and I've been reading through all the blog posts at the moment...
Truly a remarking achievement so far. I LOVE the insane attention to detail and the "when it's done" release approach!
All the weapons and soldiers are amazingly detailed. And I love there will be night settings!
The fact the HUD isn't always visible, and you have to open a map for an overview, is also very nice.
Far Cry 2 has that as well and I love that approach. It all makes it feel more real.

Keep up the splendid work. :)
