I really like the 3d model and animation but that sound does not even sound like a real weapon. Did you record your own samples from a real weapon or did you just use some bad quality youtube video as a source?

To my understanding - it's a Thompson recording. A lot of games over exaggerate weapon audio, we'll be trying to keep weapon audio as accurate to life as possible - but will likely end up tweaking and fine tuning audio at a later date to make them feel more familiar.
