We don't ban people for posting one negative comment ;)

@aquasplash actually has a valid point in that the 3rd person view isn't realistic or well executed. Having said that it's a voice acting teaser not a gameplay trailer ;)

Love that diesel sound going in the background and voices. :)

I'm glad my Cromwell engine has been received so positively. It's not the main focus of the video obviously, but having spent almost a year fine-tuning it your compliments are very much appreciated :3

Well, I would argue that the biggest advantage is that it essentially creates a remote camera that can be used to view areas normally not visible to the tank commander, and thus eliminate the ability of infantry to sneak up on the tank. It could also be used to look around corners and such without actually having to move around the corner. Basically, it offers an utterly unfair advantage to the tankers, who SHOULD feel restricted in their view and maneuverability. They need to be afraid of letting infantry get close, not just be able to see when someone is approaching close and speed away without fear.

I am hoping for something similar to FH2 tank view.

But with your head sticking out if you want an unobstructed one! (the default should be as if you're looking through the periscope, meaning glassy and somewhat limited FoV) :p

That's a good point though. It would make it more realism to add tank commander look through his periscope and make an animation for him getting out to looking out of the hatch. :)

I think TW should make the tank positions for the troops more or less be like FH2's.

I agree on having two positions for the tank commander, one looking through periscope, one where he opens the hatch and can stick his head out. That said, the Germans only ever buttoned up when under infantry fire, whilst the americans trained to basically ALWAYS be buttoned up, and the british to a lesser extent.

Does that mean we'll be able to climb on the Panzer IV sneakily and then throw a frag in, killing the crew? ;)
