Hey, in order to prevent derailing another thread with this I've decided to create a separate one to discuss the issue.
For the time being I am "stuck" with using IE because YouTube videos are simply unenjoyable when I try to use Firefox.

I've tried this solution https://github.com/erkserkserks/h264ify-firefox but it made no difference.

At the moment I will try to use firefox for everything except YouTube, however since I don't watch TV YouTube remains my primary source of entertainment.

Any ideas?

As I said the issue does not exist when using IE, seems to be related to how browsers handle HTML5 (according to a quick google search I did).

My specs:
Windows 10 insider version build 10547
4 gigabytes of ram
Intel Pentium E5800 3.2Ghz 2MB Cache
Nvidia Geforce GT240

Can post DxDiag if neccesary.

Have you tried Firefox Beta or Nightly? Probably won't fix the issue but if Mozilla are working on it then you might find the fix is implemented in one of them.

Does it happen with add-ons all turned off? (i.e. a clean Firefox install)

Or have you tried forcing hardware acceleration using an addon like this one? https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/h264ify/

I will try beta releases when I get back home in few days. It is indeed a clean install and I have tried the hardware acceleration thingy I think (check link I provided in OP, I think that's it but will check again when I get back home).

Thanky for the reply :)

I am really tempted to troll Pjosip, because reasons, but i wont do that.

I also had many problems with Firefox in the past, not only with Youtube though, as General Naga already said, you should check your addons /plug-in, thats where i had major problems, give it a try with a clean install.
