Verdun is indeed a great game! I haven't had time to play it recently but I really should get back in there.

Indeed, Verdun is a great game. I never played it myself but some of Steam friends told me that game is good.

Thing I don't like is that there is ZERO blood effect.

Yeah if you haven't seen it yet, check out the updated roadmap at Roadmap :: Verdun General Discussions for a glimpse of Verdun's future. Confirmed Belgian and US squads, and a German Pionier squad (has a flamethrower). At least two known maps on the way, Champagne and Douaumont, plus loads of new features! The future is bright for Verdun I just hope they focus on Austro-Hungarian and Italian squads in the alpine mountains of northeastern Italy when it comes to adding more fronts

Finally got a chance to play today. It's great, the new map is fantastic, and lots of foolish, foolish new players to shoot at. I'm super excited about the new content coming down the line.
